SABUDANA VADAS (JAWARISI VADAS)



INGREDIENTS :

300 gm potatoes (boiled)
1 cup sago (sabu dana) (jawarisi)
2 green chillies (chopped)

3 tsp peanuts (roasted)
2 tsp raisins
oil for frying
salt to taste

METHOD :

Soak the sabu dana or sago in water for 1 hr .drain out water and keep aside.

Peel and mash the boiled potatoes, mix in the soaked ,strained sago into the mashed potatoes..

Also add the salt ,chillies, raisins , and roasted peanuts..mix well..

Shape into vadas and deep fry in hot oil till vadas become crispy and golden brown ..

Serve hot as a snack with coconut chutney or tomato chutney...
